1. I wanna set clearer boundaries with my screentime. I use my phone more than i want to when practicing my German.

2. I wanna try Jason Chatfield's idea of "One-dip Portraits" in my paintings (I got it from reading one of the posts in his "Process Junkie" Substack). I like it because it'll be a good practice for me, who's a recovering perfectionist.

3. I need more than a week to think about this.

Thank you for sharing. Setting screen time boundaries is tough, especially since we’re using our phones for everything these days.

I love the idea of “One-dip Portraits”, such a smart way to loosen up and let go of perfection. I totally get needing more time. Sometimes the real shifts take longer to land, and that’s more than okay.

My phone gives me a weekly report each Monday, and yeah it's tough because i can easily get preoccupied by sth and forget what at first i wanted to do.

I believe perfectionism is a disease, and anyone who's been able to recover from it (I believe total recovery from it is impossible) should be applauded for their effort.

I'm no stranger to taking time to grow, because i've been a late-bloomer for years (there was a time when i had no idea i was a late-bloomer, then for a brief period i became ashamed of it, and now i've accepted it [not totally, but between 80-90%].
