You're not discovering who you are...
You're deciding who you'll become. Identity isn't found - it's built through action.
Happy Sunday!
Five minutes each week to reset, reflect, and move forward with intention.
1 INSIGHT TO CONSIDER
You become who you practice being.
We treat identity like something hidden inside us, waiting to be uncovered through soul-searching and self-discovery. But identity isn’t a treasure hunt - it’s a creation process. Every action you take is a vote for the kind of person you’re becoming. Want to be a writer? Write. Want to be disciplined? Do the hard thing today. You don’t need to find yourself. You need to decide who you want to be and start acting like that person now.
2 REFLECTIONS TO SIT WITH
Your actions today are building your identity tomorrow.
Who you are isn’t fixed. It’s a choice you make every day.
3 PROMPTS FOR THE WEEK
Who do I want to become - and what would that person do today?
What actions am I taking that don’t align with who I want to be?
What’s one daily practice that would reinforce my desired identity?
Until next week,
Chris
