You can't think your way to courage...
You have to act your way there.
Happy Sunday!
Five minutes each week to reset, reflect, and move forward with intention.
1 INSIGHT TO CONSIDER
Confidence doesn’t come before action. It comes from it.
You’re waiting to feel brave before you take the risk. Confident before you try. Strong before you face the challenge. But courage doesn’t work that way. You don’t find proof of your capability by thinking about it — you find it by doing the thing that scares you and discovering you survived. Each time you act despite the fear, you build evidence. Not that it’s easy, but that you can do hard things. Courage is built through action, not granted before it.
2 REFLECTIONS TO SIT WITH
You become brave by doing brave things.
The proof you’re seeking is on the other side of the action you’re avoiding.
3 PROMPTS FOR THE WEEK
What would prove to me that I’m capable — and am I willing to do it?
Where am I waiting for confidence when action would create it?
What’s one scared step I could take this week to build my own proof?
Until next week,
Chris
