There is no "there."
The destination you're chasing keeps moving.
Happy Sunday!
Five minutes each week to reset, reflect, and move forward with intention.
1 INSIGHT TO CONSIDER
You will never arrive because arrival isn’t real.
You tell yourself: when I get the promotion, when I hit the goal, when I achieve that milestone — then I’ll be happy, then I’ll be satisfied, then I’ll have made it. But you won’t. Because the moment you arrive, the goalpost moves. There’s always another level, another achievement, another thing to chase. This isn’t pessimism — it’s liberation. Stop waiting to arrive. The only moment that exists is this one. The journey isn’t what happens before you get there. The journey is all there is.
2 REFLECTIONS TO SIT WITH
The finish line is a mirage that disappears when you reach it.
Happiness delayed is happiness denied.
3 PROMPTS FOR THE WEEK
What am I waiting to achieve before I allow myself to feel satisfied?
How would today change if I stopped treating it as preparation for “someday”?
What am I missing right now by constantly looking ahead?
Until next week,
Chris
