The story you tell yourself...
Is the cage you live in. Your excuses are more limiting than your circumstances.
Happy Sunday!
Five minutes each week to reset, reflect, and move forward with intention.
1 INSIGHT TO CONSIDER
Every excuse is a decision to stay where you are.
We’re brilliant at explaining why we can’t. Not enough time. Not enough money. Not enough experience. Too old. Too young. Too busy. Too tired. And maybe some of those things are true. But the story you keep telling yourself about why you can’t is often more powerful than the actual obstacle. Your narrative becomes your reality. Change the story, and you change what’s possible.
2 REFLECTIONS TO SIT WITH
Every successful person had the same obstacles. They just refused to use them as reasons to stop.
The question isn’t whether you have constraints. It’s whether you’ll let them define you.
3 PROMPTS FOR THE WEEK
What’s my go-to excuse - and is it really true, or just comfortable?
Who has achieved what I want despite facing similar or worse obstacles?
What becomes possible when I stop explaining why I can’t?
Until next week,
Chris
