The rules of success...
You're following were written by people who wanted you to follow, not lead.
Happy Sunday!
Five minutes each week to reset, reflect, and move forward with intention.
1 INSIGHT TO CONSIDER
You're playing a game you didn’t design, by rules you never questioned.
Go to college. Get the degree. Climb the ladder. Work for 40 years. Retire if you’re lucky. We accept these rules as universal truth, but they’re just one version of the game - designed by institutions that benefit from your compliance. What if you could write your own rules? What if success didn’t have to look like everyone else’s? The game you’re playing might be rigged against the life you actually want to live.
2 REFLECTIONS TO SIT WITH
The system rewards conformity, not creativity.
You can play by the rules or you can make your own. But you can’t do both.
3 PROMPTS FOR THE WEEK
What rule am I following that I never actually agreed to?
Whose definition of success am I chasing - mine or someone else’s?
What would my life look like if I designed the game from scratch?
Until next week,
Chris
