The lies you tell yourself...
Are more dangerous than the ones others tell you. Self-deception is the quietest prison.
Happy Sunday!
Five minutes each week to reset, reflect, and move forward with intention.
1 INSIGHT TO CONSIDER
You can't fix what you won't acknowledge.
We’re masters at lying to ourselves. We call procrastination “waiting for the right time.” We call fear “being realistic.” We call avoidance “not being ready yet.” These gentle lies protect us from discomfort, but they also keep us stuck. The stories you tell yourself about why you can’t, why it won’t work, why now isn’t the time - they’re more limiting than any external obstacle. Brutal honesty with yourself is the beginning of real change.
2 REFLECTIONS TO SIT WITH
The truth you’re avoiding is the door to your freedom.
Every excuse is a story you’re choosing to believe.
3 PROMPTS FOR THE WEEK
What truth about my life am I avoiding?
What lie am I telling myself that’s keeping me comfortable but stuck?
What would change if I got brutally honest with myself about where I am?
Until next week,
Chris
