Happy Sunday!
Five minutes each week to reset, reflect, and move forward with intention.
1 INSIGHT TO CONSIDER
Self-awareness is uncomfortable. Self-deception is expensive.
Looking honestly at yourself costs something – the flattering self-image, the comfortable excuses, the version of events where you’re always the reasonable one. That’s why most people avoid the mirror. But the cost of not looking is far higher: repeating the same patterns, sabotaging the same relationships, wondering why the same problems follow you everywhere. The common denominator in your life is you. That’s hard to face and liberating to accept, because the one thing you can actually change is the one thing you’ve been avoiding examining.
2 REFLECTIONS TO SIT WITH
What you refuse to see in yourself, you’re doomed to repeat.
The mirror doesn’t judge. It just reflects. The judgment is optional; the looking isn’t.
3 PROMPTS FOR THE WEEK
What pattern keeps showing up in my life that I haven’t traced back to myself?
What would a truly honest friend say about me that I don’t want to hear?
What could I change if I stopped defending myself long enough to see myself?
Until next week,
Chris
