The audience of critics you're afraid of...
Doesn't exist.
Happy Sunday!
Five minutes each week to reset, reflect, and move forward with intention.
1 INSIGHT TO CONSIDER
Everyone is too busy worrying about themselves to think about you.
You didn’t post the thing because of what people might say. You didn’t try because of who might see you fail. But here’s the liberating truth: nobody is thinking about you. Not really. They're thinking about themselves – their insecurities, their appearance, their own fear of judgment – exactly like you are right now. The spotlight you feel on you is a lamp you're holding yourself. The crowd you’re performing for went home a long time ago. You’re free. You always were.
2 REFLECTIONS TO SIT WITH
The judgment you fear is mostly happening in one place: your own head.
People forget your failures faster than you do. Usually within days.
3 PROMPTS FOR THE WEEK
What am I not doing because of an audience that isn’t actually watching?
Can I name one time someone else’s failure occupied my mind for more than a day?
What would I do this week if I fully accepted that nobody’s keeping score?
Until next week,
Chris

Whenever I wanna practice speaking German, I imagine myself in the B2 exam room with another person and the two examiners (Now that I've experienced it once I'm more anxious about it). I know the structure, I know how I must practice, it's just that I always think there must be something missing.
P. S.: I now have got my German B1-certificate. That's a big achievement for me.
