Ideas are already broadcasting...
Your job is to tune the receiver.
Happy Sunday!
Five minutes each week to reset, reflect, and move forward with intention.
1 INSIGHT TO CONSIDER
You don’t generate ideas. You receive them.
We treat creativity like manufacturing - grind harder, force more, squeeze ideas out through effort. But the best creators describe something different: ideas arriving, like signals they happened to catch. The shower thought. The insight on the walk. The solution that appeared the moment you stopped searching. This isn’t mystical - it’s how the mind works when you give it space. Your job isn’t to force the signal. It’s to tune the antenna: rest, silence, walks, attention, presence. A cluttered, exhausted, constantly-stimulated mind can’t receive anything. Clear the static, and notice what comes through.
2 REFLECTIONS TO SIT WITH
Your best ideas arrive when you stop demanding them.
Stillness isn’t the absence of work. It’s where the real work happens.
3 PROMPTS FOR THE WEEK
When do my best ideas tend to arrive - and am I creating those conditions on purpose?
What static is currently interfering with my signal?
What would I receive this week if I built in one hour of genuine, unstimulated quiet?
Until next week,
Chris
