Growth and comfort...
Can't occupy the same space. Everything you want is on the other side of what feels safe.
Happy Sunday!
Five minutes each week to reset, reflect, and move forward with intention.
1 INSIGHT TO CONSIDER
Comfort is seductive. It’s also where dreams go to die.
There’s nothing wrong with comfort itself - rest is essential, ease is beautiful. But when comfort becomes your default setting, when you organize your entire life around avoiding discomfort, you stop growing. Every skill you admire in others was built through discomfort. Every version of yourself you want to become requires leaving behind the version you are now. The edge of your comfort zone is exactly where your transformation begins.
2 REFLECTIONS TO SIT WITH
Discomfort is temporary. Regret is permanent.
The most alive you’ve ever felt was probably when you were least comfortable.
3 PROMPTS FOR THE WEEK
What am I avoiding because it feels uncomfortable - and what’s that costing me?
Where have I chosen comfort over growth?
What’s one uncomfortable action I could take this week that would move me forward?
Until next week,
Chris
