Between stimulus and response...
There's a space. In that space lies your freedom, your power, your choice.
Happy Sunday!
Five minutes each week to reset, reflect, and move forward with intention.
1 INSIGHT TO CONSIDER
Awareness is the pause that changes everything.
Most of life happens on autopilot - reacting to emails, responding to triggers, following familiar patterns without thinking. But there is a moment, however brief, between what happens to you and how you respond. In that space lives your ability to choose consciously rather than react unconsciously. Awareness isn’t about being perfect - it’s about catching yourself in that pause more often.
2 REFLECTIONS TO SIT WITH
The gap between trigger and response is where wisdom lives.
You always have more choice than you think you do.
3 PROMPTS FOR THE WEEK
Where do I find myself reacting automatically instead of responding consciously?
What would change if I gave myself three seconds before responding to difficult situations?
How can I expand the space between what happens and how I react?
Until next week,
Chris
